The “Go, Go, Glow! Challenge,” a fundraiser promoting fun physical activity, is returning this year! All the money raised supports Sacajawea's Physical Education (P. E.) program and the other learning and enrichment programs funded by the PTA! Our goal is to raise $10,000 school-wide. 

About the Event

The gym is dark. There’s high-energy music playing. Glowsticks? They’re everywhere! There will be neon! And black lights! And lots of fun! During their P.E. classes on (Dates), each student will get a race bib, an event bracelet, and a glow stick bracelet. They’ll complete a warm-up, run as many loops around the gym as they can, and participate in a cool-down activity. Afterward, they’ll eat a healthy snack before returning to class. Every student will be part of the fun!

The Fundraiser

Leading up to the event, students can collect donations from family, neighbors, and friends. And we’ve worked to make this a really easy process. Parents don’t need to make a fundraiser page or create a login account on a new site. Donors can just click the link, search for your student, and make a donation. Donors can either give a set amount or donate a few dollars for each lap your student runs, walks, or dances around the loop in the gym. They can donate online, with cash, or by check. All donations will be due by March 14th*.

Oh, there are prizes! There are prizes for running! And there are prizes for fundraising. 

See the Prize List below, which includes fun prizes for students and classrooms! Returning this year: P.E. Teacher for a Day! The top fundraiser in EACH CLASS will earn a lanyard and I.D. badge, work out a lesson plan with Mr. Bindewald, and serve as the P. E. Teacher during their class for a day!
