The Sacajawea Scholastic Book Fair is December 8-12th, 2025, and we'll need helpers to make this a magical experience for our Skyhawks.

Did you know? The Share the Fair program at Sacajawea allows all students to enjoy the Book Fair. When students purchase water bottle stickers at the Book Fair, those purchases support book vouchers for classmates who, otherwise, might not be able to buy a book. You can also donate to the Share the Fair program by visiting our Book Fair page (click the link below).
Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books
Every year, interested 4th and 5th Graders form teams and compete in the double-elimination trivia tournament, Battle of the Books!
Students are encouraged to read as many of the books as they can, ensuring that the team has covered all of the included titles. Once the competition begins, battles take place in the school library during the lunch recess period and are hosted by teacher-librarian, Ms. McElroy.
The first Battle of the Books meeting is typically in December. To be eligible to compete in the program, students must have read at least one of the BOTB titles before that meeting date!
