5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Sacajawea Spring Carnival is a Family Fun Night and fundraiser hosted by the Sacajawea Elementary PTA, with the assistance of staff and parent volunteers, and middle- and high-school student volunteers from our community. It's a super fun time!
More info to come as we near the event!
The Spring Carnival is a fun, annual event! This Family Fun Night and Fundraiser includes lots of games, prizes, and even bounce houses! The Raffle and Silent Auction raise money for PTA-supported learning and enrichment programs. And the Snack Shack raises money for the 5th grade's Class of 2026.
This is a really fun event! Many other school PTAs in the area no longer hold an annual Carnival, so be sure to invite other families!
Here is the basic Carnival overview:
Cost:
Admission is FREE, but games and food items require tickets.
Game/Snack tickets are 50¢ each. Raffle tickets are $1 each.
If you plan to eat dinner and play games, expect to spend $25-30 per child.
If you need additional tickets as the evening goes on, ticket stations will remain open during the event.
Bring some cash just in case! Cash will get you through the ticket line the fastest! And the Snack Shack and food vendors take cash!
If you're using a credit or debit card, prices include a convenience fee.
Games:
Games require 1-2 tickets.
There are more than 15 game and craft stations.
Food:
There will be several food options.
Beverages will be available through the Snack Shack.
Dessert items: We'll have shaved ice available for purchase again this year! And you can try your luck in the Cake Walk!
Game Prizes:
Game participants get a prize for each game.
Other stations like the Cake Walk, Tattoo station, craft stations, and Inflatable activities are separate. These don't have a prize.
Raffle & Silent Auction Items
We have an amazing array of Raffle items this year (See list below)!
Recruit responsible high-school or middle-school helpers
We'd like Sacajawea parents to be free to enjoy the event with their children. We're looking for responsible local high schoolers (and responsible middle schoolers) to serve as volunteers during the Carnival. If you know interested teens who fit into this category, please direct them to this SIGN-UP
Donate Baked Goods for the Cake Walk
Can you donate a cake, cupcakes, muffins, brownies, cookies, or pie?
You can sign up HERE to bring what you're most excited about!
If your schedule doesn’t accommodate treat drop-off during school hours, contact the PTA and we can help!
Volunteer for a job during the event!
This event requires lots of volunteers to help it run smoothly! We appreciate any staff, parents or caregivers who are willing to help!
To handle money or cashiering, you'll need to be a PTA member.
