Spring Carnival
The Spring Carnival is a fun, annual event! This Family Fun Night and Fundraiser includes lots of games, prizes, and even bouncy houses! The Raffle and Silent Auction raise money for PTA-supported learning and enrichment programs. And the Snack Shack raises money for the 5th grade's Class of 2024.
This is a really fun event! Many other school PTAs in the area no longer hold an annual Carnival, so be sure to invite other families!

If you plan to eat dinner and play games, expect to spend ~$20 per child.
If you need additional tickets as the evening goes on, ticket stations will remain open during the event.
Bring some cash just in case!
If you're using a credit or debit card, prices include a 4.4% convenience fee.
Games:
Games generally require 1-3 tickets.
There are more than 15 game and craft stations, plus the Inflatable Obstacle Course, Inflatable Axe Throwing, and Inflatable World of Sports activities.
There will be a couple of self-serve games that don't require tickets (and don't have prizes).
Food:
Food options will include pizza, authentic Mexican food, hot dogs, and snack items sold through the 5th Grade Snack Shack.
Beverages will be available through the Snack Shack.
Dessert items: We'll have shaved ice available for purchase again this year! And you can try your luck in the Cake Walk!
You can use your Game/Snack tickets to pay for any of the food items!
Game Prizes:
Game participants get a prize for each game.
Other stations like the Cake Walk, Tattoo station, craft stations, and Inflatable activities are separate. These don't have a prize.
Raffle & Silent Auction Items
We have an amazing array of Raffle items this year (We'll list these below)!
And we're very excited about the themed baskets that the classrooms are putting together!
We Need Your Help
We hope to see your family at the Carnival! These are further ways you can support the PTA, and help the event to be fun and run smoothly!
1. Recruit responsible high-school or middle-school helpers
We'd like Sacajawea parents to be free to enjoy the event with their children. We're looking for responsible local high schoolers (and responsible middle schoolers) to serve as volunteers during the Carnival. If you know interested teens who fit into this category, please direct them to this sign-up.
You can also send them the PDF Volunteer Flyer
2. Donate to Your Classroom's Themed Basket
Each classroom will be collecting items for a unique themed basket for the Carnival's Silent Auction.
Basket themes are listed below. Your child's teacher may send out specific requests.
Please send your basket donations to school by Friday, May 10th!
3. Donate Baked Goods for the Cake Walk
Can you donate a cake, cupcakes, muffins, brownies, cookies, or pie? We need sweet treat donations for the Cake Walk! If your kind of "baking" involves purchasing treats, you can surely donate those! If you like to bake them yourself, please supply an ingredient list with any homemade baked goods.
We’ll need you to drop off baked items on Thursday, May 16th.
If your schedule doesn’t accommodate treat drop-off during school hours, contact the PTA and we can help!
4. Donate concessions!
We have a select list of items: hot dogs, buns, paper plates, etc.
Sign up to donate concessions here.
5. Volunteer for a job during the event!
This event requires lots of volunteers to help it run smoothly! We appreciate any parents or caregivers who are willing to help!
To handle money or cashiering, you'll need to be a PTA member.
RAFFLE PRIZE LIST
Many local businesses and organizations have provided generous support for the Spring Carnival auction and raffle.
Some items may be combined into packages. We'll continue to provide updates as the Carnival nears!
Full item and package descriptions and retail values will be available at the time of auction bidding and raffle. (Updated 5-1-24)
