Every year, interested 4th and 5th Graders form teams and compete in the double-elimination trivia tournament, Battle of the Books! 

Students are encouraged to read as many of the books as they can, ensuring that the team has covered all of the included titles. Once the competition begins, battles take place in the school library during the lunch recess period and are hosted by teacher-librarian, Ms. McElroy.

The first Battle of the Books meeting is December 19th, 2024 during school! To be eligible to compete in the program, students must have read one of the BOTB titles before that meeting date!
